Re: IUCAA Physics
The Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) is an independent establishment set up by the University Grants Commission to advance nucleation and development of dynamic gatherings in cosmology and astronomy in Indian colleges. IUCAA is situated in the University of Pune grounds by the National Center for Radio Astrophysics, which works the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope. IUCAA has a grounds composed by Indian engineer Charles Correa. IUCAA-NCRA Graduate School The IUCAA-NCRA graduate school (directed mutually with the National Center for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA), Pune) is implied for the PhD understudies of IUCAA and NCRA. Coursework is isolated into two semesters (four terms) spread more than one year. Every term is of approximately seven weeks length. Understudies are taught pertinent propelled courses in material science and are likewise acquainted with courses in space science and astronomy. The master's level college structure is demonstrated as follows. The quantity of showing hours is appeared in brackets; the dates may differ somewhat.
