Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics IUCAA is located at the north end of the campus of the University of Pune.

Visitors arriving at Pune via Mumbai can either take a train from Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Pune Railway Station or a bus from Dadar bus stand, from where air-conditioned buses leave frequently for Pune.

These take about three and a half hours to reach Pune.

Visitors arriving at Mumbai International Airport can take taxi from the airport to IUCAA.

M/s Akbar Travels have a currency counter inside the airport. These cabs take about three and a half hours to reach Pune.
