Important Dates 2017 Commencement of online Registration and Application on JAM 2017 Website September 02, 2016 (Friday) Last Date (Extended) for online application Submission and Uploading of Documents on the Website October 13, 2016 (Thursday) Last Date (Extended) for Payment of Application Fee through Online process October 13, 2016 (Thursday) Admit Card download January 10, 2017 (Tuesday) onwards Mock Test link February, 2017 (closer to the examination date) Date of JAM 2017 Examination February 12, 2017 (Sunday) Announcement of the Results of JAM 2017 March 27, 2017 (Monday) Submission of Application Form for Admission on the JAM 2017 Website April 12 - 25, 2017 Last Date for receipt of request for change of category in proper format/ rectification of defective documents at IIT Delhi May 10, 2017 (Wednesday) Declaration of First Admission List June 02, 2017 (Friday) Declaration of Second Admission List June 20, 2017 (Tuesday) Declaration of Third and Final Admission List July 03, 2017 (Monday) Closure of Admissions through JAM 2017 July 07, 2017 (Friday) Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for Admission One who qualifies in JAM 2017 shall have to fulfil the following Eligibility Requirement (ER) for admissions in IISc and IITs. • One is admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree. • Minimum 55% aggregate marks, without rounding off, for General/OBC-NCL Category candidates and minimum 50% aggregate marks, without rounding off, for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates in the qualifying degree. For one with letter grades/CGPA (instead of % of marks), the equivalence in % of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institutes. One needs to provide proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQ) as specified by the admitting institute At the time of admission, all admitted candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed form. At the time of admission, the admitted candidates may also have to undergo a physical fitness test by a medical board constituted by the Admitting Institute. If one is not found physically fit to pursue his/her chosen course of study, admission is liable to be cancelled. |
