Jamia Nursery School was established in 1955. Children in the age groups of 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 years are admitted to the Dareecha Group'- (KG-I).

The Chaman Group' (KG-II) has children in the age group of 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 years.

The teacher-pupil ratio for younger age group of children is kept in each age group. (ideal ratio-1:25)

For admission, preference is given to the children of Jamia employees, especially of the lower income group.

The children in the nursery age group are extremely active; always running, jumping and holding/carrying things, so the school has enough space, both indoors and outdoors, to give freedom of movement to them so that they can move about freely and use equipment for play in creative and purposeful ways.
