Eligibility Criteria:

-A candidate has obtained Master Degree, with not less than 55% marks in
aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST Candidates) in the Programme in which
he/she desires to work for M.Phil/Ph.D

-The candidates who have appeared in M.A/M.SC 4th semester/final
examination can also apply for combined entrance test for M.Phil/Ph.D and
their case will be considered only if their result is declared at the time of
determining the merit

-A candidate shall be required to obtain minimum 50% marks in the Entrance
Test that shall be considered as the eligibility for further processing of the
case of the candidate



Admission Criteria:
The merit of candidate shall be calculated on the basis of 50% weightage to the Entrance Test and 50% weightage to the Academic Merit of the candidates at the P.G Level


Reservation:
There shall be 8% reservation for SC/ST categories each and 3% for persons with disabilities
Selection Procedure for University of Jammu MPhil PhD Combined Entrance Test (CET) 2015:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of 50% weightage in the entrance test and 50% weightage in their academic merit at PG leve
