JBIMS Mumbai has an intake of 120 seats for MBA/MMS and 30 for M Sc Finance.

Form the JBIMS seats intake out of the intake of 120 MMS seats
60 seats are reserved for all backward class category students only from State of Maharashtra
60 Seats are open for both eligible Maharashtra State and outside Maharashtra State candidates.

In addition to the 120 students, 18 seats will be kept for NRIs/Foreign Nationals/PIOs and Children of workers in Gulf countries and 1 seat for J&K migrants.

And 19 seats go vacant, institute is dose not provided to any other candidate under any circumstances.

As per the provisions of Clause 39 of Equal opportunities, Protection Of Rights And Full Participation Act 1995, 3% (Three Percent) of seats of total sanctioned intake capacity of the institute are reserved for Physically Handicapped Candidates
