No, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is not held twice a year, instead it is once a year and every year for admission in B Tech Degree course all over India.

It is an all India common engineering entrance exam of objective pattern. It is regarded internationally as one of the most challenging engineering admission tests.

One must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. B,Arch applicants must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with 50% marks in total including five Subjects

One must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved candidates)

One must have studied and passed at least five subjects in their class 12th / qualifying examination in order to be eligible
