Hi to get admission in the IIST you have to give the JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) .

Candidates will first have to appear and qualify in JEE (Main), and JEE (Advanced) examinations conducted by CBSE and IITs respectively.

Only those candidates who clear the cut off set by IIST shall be eligible for admission on basis of merit.


IIST Education Eligibility

Should have passed their Qualifying Examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of the curriculum.

GEN and OBC categories must secure an aggregate of at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)

SC/ST/PD should have an aggregate of at least 60% marks in PCM subjects in the qualifying examination.
