Eligibility Criteria
The minimum required qualification for admission to any one of the programmes is a pass in the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics (except, Biotech, Bioinformatics and Pharmacy Programmes) as compulsory subjects and any two amongst Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer Science & English as other subject. Courses like IT, Physical Education or any other Humanities or Social Science course shall not be accepted.

For Biotechnology, Bioinformatics & 6 Years B.Pharm-M.Pharm Practice programmes, Maths is not a compulsory subject. In such a case candidates with Biology/Biotechnology and Physics in 12th Std. level can also apply.

Criteria of year of Qualifying Examination

Only those students are eligible to apply who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination not earlier than two years of the admission year.

Those students appearing in the final examination of 10+2 or equivalent in the admission year are also eligible for consideration of provisional admission.

All students who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) to the University authority latest by September 30, of the admission year failing which, such provisional admission will stand cancelled.

If the results in qualifying examinations are likely to be declared after September 30, of the admission year the students are advised to seek admission next year as no representations for extension of dates for any reason whatsoever, shall be entertained.

Criteria for Date of Birth

Students whose age is equals to or less than 21 years as on October 01, of admission year (Date of Birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic) are eligible to apply for admission.

Selection Process:

The admission will be only on merit drawn, based on 10+2 examination results. Best of four subjects including Physics and Mathematics (Biology/Biotechnology) for Biotech/ Bioinformatics/ Pharmacy Program) will be counted for drawing overall percentage.

Selected students will be offered provisional admission subject to production of eligibility certificates and deposition of Institutional fee.

The selected students will be informed through letters and emails. The students must therefore give the correct postal address as also the regularly used email ID for faster processing.
