Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry conducts JIPMER PG entrance exam for admissions to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes in various courses offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical subjects.

The post graduate entrance exam is conducted twice a year for providing admissions to approximately 102 seats each in its January and July session.

The JIPMER PG 2017 will be conducted on May 21, 2017

JIPMER PG Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have MBBS along with the compulsory rotating internship and have obtained a registration number from Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council

The candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India

A candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months of rotating internship on or before June 30, 2017

Indian Nationals, Overseas citizens of India and Foreign Nationals can apply for these programmes
