Candidate must be minimum 17 years of age

Nationality
Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Education
A candidate appearing in JIMER MBBS 2017 must have appeared or passed 10+2 or equivalent examination

A candidate must have appeared or passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry ,Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests) with English as an elective subject

Further, a candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in PCB,whereas it is 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. In respect to Physically Handicapped candidates belonging to General category, the minimum marks to obtain in PCB is 45%

Application fee
The cost of JIPMER MBBS 2017 application form for general and OBC category candidate is Rs.1000.

While for SC/ST candidate, JIPMER MBBS 2017 application form fee is Rs.800.
