The department of Surgical Oncology was established in the year 2010 with an aim to provide comprehensive cancer care to patients, training and Research.

JIPMER has fully equipped department with facilities for inpatient and outpatient care , endoscopies, minor procedures and all major cancer surgeries including micro vascular reconstructive surgery.
