About the Entrance Exam :

Jawaharlal Nehru University, one of the finest institutes for teaching and research in the country conducts entrance tests for admission to various post graduate courses of the varsity. Along with this institution also conducts an entrance exam for first year of BA (Honours) course and certificate of proficiency programmes (COP).

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates who will apply for the M.Phil./Ph.D. programme, have to be passed their master’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned language/subject.

Those candidates applying for the MA course, have to be completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks

Candidates who want to appear in the B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year, they have to be qualified first year of bachelor’s degree or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Candidates those want to apply for B.A.(Hons.) 1st Year, they have to be passed the senior school certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination.
