JNU Grading System
I want to know about the Grading System of the Jawaharlal Nehru University so can you please give me some information about this? Jawaharlal Nehru University, also known as JNU It is a public central university in New Delhi, the capital of India. JNU follows a semester system. The University follows a 9 point letter grading scale for evaluation of students' academic performance The grades in each course of the semester are used to compute the Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA). The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated for the student up to and including the semester for which it is required using the SGPA. On completing the programme the student is assigned a Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) denoting the final index of a student in the courses. The performance of student is evaluated continuously throughout the semester. The students shall be graded in each course on a 10 point scale, that is : Grade Grade Point A+ 9 A 8 A- 7 B+ 6 B 5 B- 4 C+ 3 C 2 C- 1 F Fail Note : There shall be no rounding off of SGPA/CGPA/FGPA Grades graph For more details about its grading system here is the attachment JNU grading system Contact Details: Jawaharlal Nehru University New Mehrauli Road, Near Munirka New Delhi, Delhi 110067 Last edited by Neelurk; February 11th, 2020 at 11:51 AM. |
