About the exam:
The "Combined Defence Services" Examination (CDS) is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

19-24 Years Indian Military Academy

Educational Qualifications:
IMA & OTA Degree of a recognized University or equivalent
Naval Academy B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg
Air Force Academy B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

CDS 1 2016 Important Dates:
Releasing date of CDS I 2016 Notification: 7th, November 2015.
Final Date of Receipt of Applications: 4th, December 2015
CDS I 2016 Admit cards download date: – January to February 2016
Exam Date of CDS I 2016: 14th February 2016.
Result Date of CDS I 2016: May 2016

CDS II 2016 Important Dates:
Releasing date of CDS II 2016 Notification: 16th July, 2016.
Final Date of Receipt of Applications: 12th August 2016
