BIOCHEMISTRY involves learning the chemistry of living things such as substances, compounds and processes. Biochemists unite the fields of microbiology, cell biology, genetics, chemistry, cell biology, and physics in their day-to-day work or experiments. Biochemists are mainly required by Pharmaceutical companies, Food industries Agro chemical companies Chemical companies and Other allied industries. Private hospitals employ biochemists to manage their laboratory activities. In addition to this, aspirants of biochemistry are also offered employment in private research organisations for the post of Research Scientist. Biochemistry graduates have huge possibilities of getting a job in various government sectors such as the Agriculture and fisheries department, Environmental pollution control board, Government hospitals, Public health entities, Blood service units, Cancer research institutes, Public health laboratories, Forensic science department, Overseas development board, Social welfare board, and so on.
