WBJEE is a state level examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) for admission to different undergraduate courses in engineering, medical, architecture and pharmacy field at numerous private and government institutions across West Bengal.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria

For admission at Jadhavpur University, must have passed 10+2 examination from state board or CBSE board and secured minimum 60% of marks (for reserved category candidates the minimum scored mark is 55%).

Apart from Jadavpur university, if candidates want to get admission at any other institution, they must have secured minimum 45% marks (the mark is 40% for reserved category candidates).

Candidates must be 17 years old

For Marine engineering, must not be more than 25 years

Candidates must have citizenship of West Bengal. Domicile is not required in case you want to get admission into private or self-aided university).

Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Candidates should not have any medical illness.

WBJEE Exam Pattern -

All the questions are multiple choice MCQ type

Marking Scheme for Question Category 1

Candidates need to make one correct answer.
One mark will be provided to every correct answer.
For every negative response, ¼ marks gets deducted.

Marking Scheme for Question Category 2

Candidates are required to mark only one right answer.
2 marks will be provided for every correct response, whereas ½ marks gets deducted for negative response.

Marking Scheme for Question Category 3

Questions belonging to this category may have one or more than one answer is correct.
Candidates will be given 2 marks if they have marked all correct answers of a question.
In case your answer is partially correct then marks awarded = 2 X (no of correct options marked) / (total no of actually correct options).
