Eligibility
They should have done atleast 3 years diploma from any polytechnic institution under State Council of Technical Education

Minimum percentage requirement for general candidates is 45% and for SC/ST candidates it is 40%

They should be permanent resident of Assam

Those who are in final year of diploma can also apply but they have to show their original mark-sheet of final year while admission

Exam pattern

Duration of exam is 3 hours
It is an objective exam consisting of only one paper
Total number of questions will be 100.
Candidates will get four marks for each correct answer
One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer

Registration Fee for JLEE Assam 2016
Examination fees for Assam JLEE will be Rs. 1000/- that as to be paid through DD which should be in favor of “The Director, Technical Education, Assam” payable at State bank of India, Kahilipara Branch, Guwahati.

Syllabus for JLEE Assam 2016
Questions in the Assam JLEE paper will be of multiple choices with total 400 marks in four subjects.

Those are Mathematics, Basic Computer, Graphics and Branch of Engineering.

Each correct answer carries four marks while for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted. The time duration for the examination will be of 3 hours.
