“Jugaad” is an Inter-IIT Competition cum Conference.
This event endorses the idea of an inventive fix.
It is based on the art of spotting chances in the most adverse circumstances and resourcefully improvising solutions using simple means.
In simple means, it is a unique way of thinking and acting in response to tests.
Participants from all other IITs will be invited in Jugaad based on their ideas and solutions.
A conference will also be held based on Jugaad Technology.
Eminent speakers from India and Abroad invited.

OVERVIEW:
In order to win, each pool must crack problems of hostel dwellers of another pool.

STRUCTURE:
Every pool will submit 1 problem faced in the IIT Kanpur along with a possible technological solution and design of the prototype.
There would be a lucky draw and one problem statement would be selected. All the pools would have to submit a prototype on the selected problem statement.
A potential technological solution (with design of prototype) to the other entire three problem statement along with the financial estimates of the suggested solution should be made.
Solutions will be judged in terms of possibility and financial comparisons, as well as novelty and originality.
Any valid answer and prototype must have an associated financial analysis, failing which it will not be considered for evaluation.

EVENT STRUCTURE:
1st Day: Every pool must submit the following data:
A problem faced at IIT Kanpur.
A description of the problem and background information
The submissions will have to be done manually to event coordinators at 10:00 PM after which there would be a lucky draw in the presence of representatives from each pool (preferably pool captains) to select the problem to be prototyped.
