Ka-TET is a term in High Speech for a gathering of individuals drawn together by ka for a reason.

The gunslinger Roland Deschain portrays ka-tet as being "one from numerous." Susannah Holmes infers a considerably easier meaning of the term: it is the thought of family. A tet regularly comprises of a few focal people destined for a reason, with extra people assuming brief parts and particular capacities inside the gathering.

A standout amongst the most celebrated ka-tets is that of Deschain, Holmes, Eddie Dean, Jake Chambers, and Oy of Mid-world; to a lesser degree, Donald Callahan, Ted Brautigan, Dinky Earnshaw, and Patrick Danville added to the motivation behind this gathering. Deschain in the past had a place with another long-prior tet that included Cuthbert Allgood, Alain Johns, and (for a period) Sheemie Ruiz and Susan Delgado.

Another tet, with which Deschain, Allgood and Johns had a meeting, was the gathering known as the Big Coffin Hunters, including Eldred Jonas, Roy Depape, and Clay Reynolds.
