Krishna All India Entrance Test (KAIET) is conducted by Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences- a deemed University of Karad for admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and B.sc nursing courses.

It is a national level entrance examination and will be conducted at eleven centers across the nation.


Eligibility Criteria:

-For M.B.B.S. and BDS: A candidate to open category must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks, taken together in physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination.

In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled casts, Scheduled tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% as above.

-The candidates who are appearing for qualifying are also eligible to appear for KAIET, however, they must fulfill the eligibility condition at the time of admission.

Entrance Exam Pattern

-One common question paper in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

-200 Multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided into 50 questions in Physics, 50 questions in Chemistry and 100 questions in Biology.

-The candidate is expected to attempt all the 200 questions.

-Each correct answer will be given one (1) mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

-Duration of examination will be 3 hours.

-The medium of examination will be English only.
