As you want to know details of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) here I will gather information so that you can check it easily.

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Along with Physics and Mathematics candidates must pass the qualifying exam with any of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects.

General category candidates have to obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam and the candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category have to score a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.

Application fees

Candidates belonging to the general category were required to deposit Rs.650 as examination fee (Rs.500 for SC, ST and OBC).

Mode of Payment
Bank Challan or Demand Draft. DD needed to be drawn in favour of ‘Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority

Tentative dates
Commencement of Entry of Application Online: 2nd week January 2017

Last Date to Enter Application Details Online: 2nd week February 2017

Last Date to Pay the Fees in the Banks specified 2nd week February 2017

Downloading of Admission Tickets on or after: 2nd week April 2017
