Re: Karnataka Common Entrance Test For Medical

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET Medical 2016 exam is state level entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to MBBS and Dental colleges of Karnataka.

KCET Medical 2016 Exam was conducted on May 4 and 5, 2016

KCET Medical Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th STD / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects. While SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates must have 40%

Candidates appearing in 10+2/HSC are also eligible to apply.

Candidates must be of 17 years of age

KCET Medical Exam Pattern:

KCET Medical is a pen and paper based exam.

Exam Mode - Pen and Paper Based

Language of Paper - English

Types of questions - Multiple choice Questions

Number of Questions - 180

Division of Questions

Physics – 60
Chemistry – 60
Biology – 60

Marking Scheme

For correct answer: +1 marks are given
For incorrect answer: No mark will be deducted for incorrect response

Based on the syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC
