The Karnataka state Open University is invited candidates for two year degree M.Ed program. Those who want to get degree for teaching education they may apply for M.Ed course in Karnataka Open University.

The intake for the M.Ed Degree Programme shall be fixed by the SRC – NCTE, Bangalore, form time to time. At present the intake is 475.

Duration of the M.Ed Degree Programme is two years.

Every candidate has to attend two contact programmes of first and second year in two consecutive years.

Those who could not complete the theory examinations within the stipulated time have to complete the same within four years of admission.

Medium of Instruction is in English. Candidates are permitted to write their Assignments, Dissertation Reports and TermEnd Examination in Kannada
