Karnataka PGCET Document Verification

What is the use of document verification in PGCET or Post Graduate Common Entrance Test Karnataka? What is the date announced for verification of documents for admission in PGCET or Post Graduate Common Entrance Test Karnataka?

The Document Verification of Karnataka PGCET 2017 will commenced with the option entry from September 2017

Only upon verification of documents and issue of verification slip, the candidate will be allowed to enter the options.

The candidates can get their documents verified at 13 notified helpline centres across the state.

However, Non-Karnataka Candidates, GATE Qualified Candidates; Sponsored Quota Candidates, QIP Candidates, Part Time Quota candidates should attend the documents verification at Bangalore centre only.

Only after getting the documents verified, the eligible candidates will be allowed to fill the options.

The seat matrix for Round 2 displayed on September 9, 2016. The option filling process for Round 2 has also commence on the same day.

The candidates can enter any number of options in Karnataka PGCET 2016 Option Entry of their choice on their own arrangement.

List of Documents Required for Karnataka PGCET Document Verification

Candidates must ensure that the documents must be carried in original, along a set of the photocopy.

Class X/SSLC marks sheet
Class XII/2nd PCU mark sheet
Copy of filled in application form of Karnataka PGCET
Original copy of challan paid to remit the fee
KPGCET admit card
SSLC/10th Standard/Equivalent Examination Marks Card
2nd PUC/12th Standard/Equivalent Examination Marks Card
Degree Marks Card of all the Years/Semesters.
Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate / Course completion certificate.
Study Certificate (Only for the residents of Karnataka)
Recent passport size photographs, two at least.
Minimum 3 years work Experience Certificate (if applicable).
Minimum one-year work experience certificate (for QIP candidates)
Sponsorship Certificate (For Full-Time Program – as per the format)
Caste Certificate/Income Certificate
Tahasildar, for the candidates claiming Reservation benefits. (Caste and Income Certificate, in prescribed format.
Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/(Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc.,) for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the (domicile)/study/(employment) of the parent.
