Re: Karnataka University Chemistry Department

The Karnataka University has a Chemistry Department. The department of Chemistry was established under the erstwhile Bombay University as one of the centres of post- graduate teaching and research.

In 1953 the department became a part of Karnataka University.

The department has excellent infrastructure for research in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Polymer Science.
