Re: Kartik Nagar IISC
The Department of Computer Science and Automation (CSA) was made in 1969 and was initially called the School of Automation till the mid-eighties. Following the time when its beginning, the office has been a spearheading scholastic community for advanced education, examination, and development in key regions of software engineering. The vision of the office is to empower India's brilliance in the realm of software engineering and mechanization. The driving mission for the office is to propel the wildernesses of examination in software engineering and mechanization and offer world-class pedagogical and research experience to its understudies. CSA is perceived as a Center for Advanced Study by the University Grants Commission and has as of late been recompensed a FIST (Fund for Infrastructure in Science and Technology) stipend by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The division pulls in skilled understudies from all over India. There are as of now 132 examination understudies on roll (96 Ph.D. understudies, 36 M.Sc. (Engg.) understudies). All alumni of CSA find phenomenal situations in exploration arranged commercial ventures and top positioning worldwide organizations. CSA graduated class are at the cutting edge of innovative work in software engineering and related fields inside India and universally. The office's graduated class incorporate eminent academicians, pioneers in PC and IT industry, recognized researchers, and trendsetting business visionaries.
