Karunya University set up Center for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) in the year 2001. The Center viably connects with Industries through different inventive and remarkable projects to confer Application Knowledge to the Students and Faculty.

Objectives

The Centre for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) principally works as the Directorate of Placement and Training. The targets of CIC are as per the following:-

To place all going out understudies through grounds and off-grounds interviews led by worthy organizations and to give stately situations locally, broadly and globally.

To render all help to the go out and non-set graduated class towards their productive employability.

To enhance the employability of the going out understudies through profession advancement programs.

To lead Faculty Development Programs and in addition Professional Enhancement Programs to the Non-Teaching Staff (NTS), amid the Summer Vacation only before the beginning of the scholarly year.

Activities carried- out in CIC

Related to Placement

a. Situation of going out understudies through Campus and Off-Campus Interviews.

b. Situation of non-put graduated class through Off-Campus Interviews.

c. Offering an input from selection representatives on the execution of the possibility to the Directors and HoDs, on consummation of the grounds/off-grounds interviews for mid-course rectification.

d. Recognizable proof of new corporates - starting discoursed, giving obliged data to them and follow-up for empanelment of the University.

e. Acquiring and taking care of understudy information, as required by the organizations.

f. Gathering and giving information identified with position to applicable University specialists, as required every once in a while.

Identified with Training

a) Students Development Programs

a. Giving Soft Skills Training as a component of the educational modules, for the sake of 'Administrative Skills' for B.Tech understudies and 'Progressed Managerial Skills' for M.Tech and MCA understudies.

b. Sorting out Coaching Classes on General Aptitude, Group Discussion and Personal Interview in the pre-last year, with the assistance of outside preparing organizations, amid non-working hours.

c. Co-ordinating industry-organization association amid the Internship or Full Semester Project Study of the chose understudies in different organizations.

d. Checking of the training classes on Technical Aptitude being led by Schools/Departments.

e. Lead of Infosys Campus Connect Soft Skills Training to intrigued pre-last year understudies and additionally effectively put last year understudies.

f. Lead of passageway guiding classes, for example, CAT and GRE with the assistance of outside preparing offices, amid non-working hours.
