Application fees A candidate who does not belong to SC/ST communities will be treated as ‘General’ candidate for the collection of application fee. The application fee for all candidates will be as follows: General: Rs.1,000/- SC : Rs.500/- Candidates can make the payment of the application fee in three modes viz. Security Card : By purchasing the Security Card from selected Post Offices; or Demand Draft : By way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Online Payment : By way of online payment (Internet Banking, Debit Card and Credit Card) Exam Centres Thiruvananthapuram Kollam Pathanamthitta Alappuzha Kottayam Ernakulam Thodupuzha Kattappana Thrissur Palakkad Malappuram Kozhikode Wayanad Kannur Kasaragod Mumbai New Delhi Dubai Eligibility Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with PCM (for engineering courses) or PCB (for all other courses excluding engineering courses) with minimum of 50% marks in core subject (Mathematics/ Biology) and at least of 50% in total aggregate. Candidates who have engineering diploma with at least 50% marks can also apply for the exam. The candidates must have minimum age of 17 years or above as on or before month of examination year. Exam pattern The KEAM examination will comprise of two papers for the medical and engineering each. Each paper will contain 120 MCQs (multiple type questions) of 480 marks. Each correct will rewarded with four marks. There is the also negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The duration of KEAM 2016 paper is 150 minutes |
