Keam MBBS BDS Second Allotment

I want to get the details regarding the seat allotment of KEAM exam for MBBS and BDS course so can you provide me?

KEAM 2016 Seat Allotment will be done through the online Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).

The seat allocation procedure for KEAM 2016 will be conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exam (CEE), Kerala,

Kerala KEAM Counselling 2016 for professional degree courses will commence in June 2016.

The online allotment will conduct to fill up one vacant MBBS seat in Government Medical College,150 MBBS seats in the two Private Self Financing Medical Colleges (Al Azhar Medical college & Super speciality Hospital, Ezhalloor, Thodupuzha, Idukki and Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation, Venjaramoodu P O, Thiruvananthapuram) and one vacant BDS seat in Government Dental College in Kerala

The allotments of courses and colleges for KEAM 2016 will strictly be done on the basis of the options marked, rank obtained the candidate and reservations criteria of the candidate.

CEE may also conduct Spot Allotment/Admission for KEAM 2016 for filling up the remaining vacant seats of colleges (if any).

Spot Allotment/Admission will be conducted only after the completion of the online allotment process.

The percentage break – up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows :

Seat Details Percentage of Seats ( % )
State Merit ( SM ) 60%
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes ( SEBC ) 30%
Ezhava ( EZ ) 9%
Muslim ( MU ) 8%
Other Backward Hindu ( BH ) 3%
Latin Catholic and Anglo Indian ( LA ) 3%
Dheevara and related communities ( DV ) 2%
Viswakarma and related communities ( VK ) 2%
Kusavan and related communities ( KN ) 1%
Other Backward Christian ( BX ) 1%
Kudumbi ( KU ) 1%
Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes 10%
Scheduled Castes ( SC ) 8%
Scheduled Tribes ( ST ) 2%

The total number of seats available for the different courses will be published prior to the commencement of CAP 2016.

Admission to all the Government seats except the seats reserved for All India Quota for MBBS / BDS and Nominees will be made on the basis of respective rank lists / inter-se merit as may be applicable.
