The meaning of KEAM is Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance exam

Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance exam is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination CEE Kerala for admission to UG programmes.

KEAM eligibility criteria-

12th from the recognized board and secured 50% marks in core as math (for engineering and architecture) or biology/ biotechnology (for medical and allied courses) and 50% in aggregate of physics, chemistry and core subject put together.

For medical courses biotechnology will not be considered as a subject except MBBS/BDS course

For architecture, candidates must have secured 50% in 12th with math as a subject.

Age

The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years

There is no upper age limit for KEAM examination.

Exam Pattern

The KEAM 2016 was conducted in two papers for each as engineering and medical.

Each paper will comprise in 120 question with five suggestive answers.

The total marks are 480

The duration of each paper is 2.5 hour.

4 marks was given to correct answer

one mark was deducted for each wrong answer.
