Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical) is a state level examination hosted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination Kerala for the candidates seeking admissions in several UG courses under various private and govt institutes located in Kerala State.


Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with PCM (for engineering courses) or PCB (for all other courses excluding engineering courses) with minimum of 50% marks in core subject (Mathematics/ Biology) and at least of 50% in total aggregate.

Age Limit :

The Candidates must have Minimum age of 17 years .

Application Fee:

For General category is Rs.800/-
For SC/ST category is Rs.400/-

KEAM Exam Pattern :

There will be two papers individually for engineering and medical.

Each paper will contain 120 questions along with five suggestive answers.

Total marks of the question paper will be 480 and candidates will find 2.5 hour for each paper.


Candidates will be awarded with 4 marks in case they have putted a right answer and deduction of one mark will be done for every wrong answer.

Selection process of candidates will be done on the basis of marks achieved by them in the KEAM 2016 entrance exam and the qualifying exam.

The ratio will be 50:50.
