The Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Studies offered by University College of Kennesaw State University allows students the flexibility to individually design a curriculum that will guide them to accomplish their personal and career goals. There are three available tracks: Specialized Studies, Environmental Studies, and General Studies. Specialized Studies Track (2.5 AGPA required for admission): General Education and Fitness for Living Requirements (45-48 Credit Hours) Lower Division Major Requirements (Area F) (18 Credit Hours): Varies depending on academic areas selected. Upper Division Major Requirements (39 Credit Hours) • 12 credit hours each from two chosen academic areas. • 12 credit hours of upper-level course work approved by the INTS Director reflecting integration and application of upper-level academic skills. And 3 credit hours for INTS 4498: Senior Seminar in Integrative Studies. Related Studies (9 Credit Hours) • Varies depending on academic areas. Free Electives (12 Credit Hours) • Any courses in the university curriculum. Program Total: 123 Credit Hours General Studies Track (2.0 AGPA required for admission): General Education and Fitness for Living Requirements (45-48 Credit Hours) Lower Division Major Requirements (Area F) (18 Credit Hours) • Varies depending on interest areas but must include IT 2101: Computers in Your World and COM 2129: Public Speaking (COM 1109: Human Communication can be substituted if it was not taken to fulfill their general education requirements). Upper Division Major Requirements (39 Credit Hours) • Varies depending on interest areas but must include LDRS 3000: Foundations of Leadership and WRIT 3140: Technical Writing, INTS 4498: Senior Seminar in Integrative Studies and 12 hours in one or a cluster of two academic areas.
