The Institute of Management Studies, Kuvempu University was established in the year 1991-92 in Davangere.

The Institute offers MBA programme with four specializations namely Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management and System Management.

The institute also offers Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.

The course has been approved by the AICTE.
