Kuvempu University is an open state college in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It was built up in 1987 by the demonstration of the Karnataka state governing body through revision No. 28/1976 dated 29 January 1989 under the Karnataka State University Act 1976. The college offers undergrad and graduate degree programs in extensive variety of orders. It was perceived by the UGC in 1994 and is an individual from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
