KVPY is prestigious exam conducted by IISC , Bangalore.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) organizes a national level scholarship program which is known as Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY).

If you feel that your basics are strong then KVPY will.go relatively easy.

And mind you 'easy' and 'difficult' are relative terms.

And if you are seriously interested in pursuing basic sciences after 12th then KVPY is the exam for you.

If you clear the written test then you are called for interview which again tests your fundamentals of PCM.

If you clear both the levels then you get scholarship of RS. 80000 per year.

KVPY Exam Pattern/Format
KVPY Exam is conducted for three levels of students namely

KVPY SA: For Class XI students
KVPY SX: For Class XII students
KVPY- SB: For 1st year Students of B. Sc. /B.S. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S
