Yes IISC is a committee member of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and here I will get details of scheme so that you can check it.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KYPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, to identify students with talent and aptitude for research and encourage them to take up research careers in Science.

Fellowships:-
SA/SX/SB - during 1st to 3rd years of - B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S.
Monthly Fellowship - Rs. 5000
Annual Contingency Grant - Rs. 20000

SA/SX/SB - during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S./M.Math./M.Stat.
Monthly Fellowship - Rs. 7000
Annual Contingency Grant - Rs. 28000

The application fee for KVPY 2016 are as follows:
For General Category/OBC: Rs. 1000

For SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 500

Eligibility
Students of Class X and XII from both government and private schools are eligible for KVPY 2016 scholarship programme.

Only Indian National candidates are eligible for the KVPY fellowships/scholarships.

Students who want to pursue their education in India in the undergraduate courses as listed below are eligible for the KVPY programme.

To provide scholarships, the exam conducting authority selects students of class XI to first year of undergraduate programme in Basic Sciences – B.Sc/B.S/B.Stat/B.Math/Int. M.Sc/M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Exam pattern
The candidates can appear in the aptitude test in either for format – computer-based and paper-pen mode.

A total of 80 questions are asked for SA stream and 120 questions for SB/SX stream to answer in the OMR-sheet.

There is no prescribed syllabus for the aptitude test, but students are tested according to their syllabus of Class X/XII/First year of B.Sc/B.S/B.Stat/B.Math/Int. M.Sc/M.S, whatever is applicable.
