About TNEA 2016:

Anna University conducts TNEA every year which is not an engineering entrance exam but it is the process or guidelines on the basis of which admission to an assortment of graduate level engineering courses at different engineering colleges is done.

TNEA 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should have passed 12th board exam or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Applicants applying for TNEA 2016 should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 12th or equivalent exam

Short listing and seat allotment of the candidates through TNEA 2016 will be done on the basis of their marks in class 11th and class 12th

Last date for registration/Filling of application form: 24 May, 2016

Last date for receipt of filled-in-online application: 27th May, 2016

Rank/Merit list publication date: few days after the result announcement

Counselling starts from: the starting month of July, 2016

TNEA 2016 Application process:

TNEA 2016 applications are available from April 15, 2016 and will be continued till 7 days after the date of Publication of Higher Secondary result.

Applicants may apply for TNEA 2016 in online mode only.

TNEA 2016 Application Fee:

General category Applicants have to pay Rs. 500 (Rs.250 for SC/ST/SCA) through net banking/Debit card/credit card or through Demand Draft drawn in favor of "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, Anna University".

Applicants who will submit their application form in person may pay fee through Demand Draft.
