Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University has five schools, located on the same campus. The schools include the School of Petroleum Technology, School of Technology, School of Petroleum Management, School of Solar Energy, and School of Liberal Studies.

Energy and energy infrastructure are very critical to any economy for the development and sustainability. India has realized this fact and has embarked upon a comprehensive strategy to address the concerns of energy security of India. The need for a resource center was anticipated to keep pace with the fast developing and competitive energy industry and to plan for the future and to continuously build requisite intellectual capital and human resource skills.

The Board of nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has sanctioned a research project titled “Dissimilar material joining of SS316LN (UNSS31653) and XM-19 (UNS S20910) stainless Steel Joints” at PDPU. PDPU is looking for meritorious young researchers for above mentioned BRNS funded research project.

Following fellowships are available for a initial period of 12 months for One Senior Research fellow (SRF) OR Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Senior Research Fellow:
Eligibility: M.E. /M. Tech
(Mechanical Engg. /Welding Technology/Metallurgy Engg. /Materials Engg. / Production Engg.)
Fellowship: 28000/- per month for SRF

Junior Research Fellow:
Eligibility:
B.E./B.Tech
(Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy/Materials Engg./Welding Technology)
Fellowship: 25000/- per month for JRF

Desired Specialization:
Keen interest and knowledge in welding technology, welding metallurgy and general metallurgy.Prior experience shall be an added advantage.
