A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TSLAWCET) is conducted by the Convener, TSLAWCET/ TSPGLCET, Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into 3Year / 5Year LL.B Regular Courses in the Colleges of Law in Telangana. One other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned. One seeking admission should: For LLB 3 Year Course: one should have passed Graduate Degree Exam of minimum 3 years duration (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with minimum 45% marks of aggregate marks(40% marks for SC/ST categories) in the qualifying exam. If one scores less than 45% in graduation, should have passed any additional graduation or Post Graduation with 45% marks. For LL.B 5 year course: One should have passed two year Intermediate Exam (10+2 pattern) with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST categories) in the qualifying exam or any other exam recognized as equivalent to Intermediate by the University, Board of Intermediate education board, and Bar Council of India. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies. Qualifying marks in TSLAWCET is 35% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates. Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into LL.B 3/5 Year course unless the candidate: i. appears for Counseling at the notified Centers. ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned. iii. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority |
