The Department of Library and Information Science was established under the faculty of Mental Moral and Social Sciences in 1978 and the Board of Studies in Library & Information Science was constituted.

Masters of Library and Information Science (Two years Integrated Course )

From the academic year 2002-2003, the department of library and Information science is conducting two years MLISc integrated course with semester and credit system.

Eligibility:
The course shall be open to graduates (in any subject) of the University of Pune and any other university recognised by it.
