Hi I want to prepare for the LIC and GIC exam so can you please tell me the qualification required for both the exam and the exam pattern??

Hi the GIC and LIC both are the central level exam below I have given you the details for the qualification and the exam pattern GIC Exam Pattern Educational Qualifications: Pass in Higher Secondary with 60% marks of Graduate of a recognized University. Scheme of the Examination: The examination comprises: Written Examination in the subjects set out in Para 7 below Interview of such candidates, who qualify in the Written Test. Examination Papers: The written test will be Objective Type consisting of Test of Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Clerical Aptitude, English Language and General Knowledge; and Descriptive Test on Essay, Letter Writing and Precise Writing in English. Objective tests except English will be bilingual, i.e., both in English and Hindi. LIC Exam Pattern Educational Qualifications: Pass in Higher Secondary with 60% marks of Graduate of a recognized University Plan of the Examination: The subjects of the written test, time allowed and the maximum marks for each paper will be as under: Sl.No. Subject Language Maximum Time Marks Allowed PAPER I-OBJECTIVE 1. Reasoning Ability (Bilingual) 2. Numerical Ability " 3. General Knowledge " 150 2 hours 4. English English 5. Hindi (for A and B states only). PAPER II Descriptive (qualifying) 1. English or Hindi English 2. Official Language Hindi or of the State, (e.g., Regional 50 1 hour Punjabi in Punjab) Language except in States where Hindi is the official language (i) The candidate is required to pass in each of the Tests separately. (ii) The merit order of the candidates will be decided by the aggregate score in Paper I. (iii) Candidates, who pass in each test separately and rank sufficiently high in the merit list, would be called for personal interview/trade test (wherever applicable). (iv) Final Selection will be on the basis of the overall performance in the written test, Trade Test (where applicable) and the interview |
