Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management GITAM University provides Hostel accommodation to their students.

The hostel provides a cot, a mattress and pillow, a study table, a chair and a cupboard for each student.

Every hostel has solar heated water facility, water cooler, common telephone, common TV room, common reading room etc.

Adequate dining facilities are available for all students.

Varieties of food courts are also available on the campus, to suit different tastes of students coming from across the country.

Membership to any of the mess run on the campus is compulsory.

Gymnasium, Tennis and all indoor, outdoor games and sports facilities are available on the campus.

Complete safety and security inside the Hostels and on the Campus is monitored by the Block Supervisors, Resident Wardens and the Security personnel.

Students will be provided with comfortable shared accommodation for two to four wards.

Students must occupy rooms specifically allotted to them.
They are not allowed to change/exchange rooms except with the prior written permission of the Warden/Chief Warden.

Change of accommodation from one hostel to another during a term is generally not permitted.

The hostel fee, which includes infrastructure fee and caution deposit is collected at the time of hostel admission.

The hostel fee /deposit may be remitted by a demand draft drawn in favour of Warden (Boys/Girls, as the case may be), GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam.
