Hey!! The Master of Arts (Education) programme of Directorate of Distance Education L.N.Mithila University is an innovative course, which will provide learners exhaustive and more comprehensive knowledge/understanding of education

Eligibility Criteria:

i. Any Graduate or a Bachelor's degree in Education or B.Ed. with 45% minimum marks on the basis of Entrance Test.

ii. B.Ed. (inservice teachers) direct admission on the basis of marks/merit.

Scheme of Entrance test:

The test will be of objective type with 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered within two hours. The question paper will be in English and Hindi both. The question paper will contain three parts as given below :


i. PART – A : General English 20 marks

ii. PART – B : General Knowledge 20 marks

iii. PART – C : One of the following subjects 60 marks

(a) Mathematics (60 marks)

(b) Physical Sciences (Physics – 30 marks, Chemistry-30 marks)

(c) Biological Science (Botany – 30 marks, Zoology – 30 marks)

(d) Social Studies (Geography – 20 marks, History – 20 marks,

Civics – 10 marks, Economics – 10 marks)


Fee Structure:

1st Year :

Rs. 18,000/- for General/BC/EBC/WBC students

Rs. 16,000/- for SC/ST


2nd Year :

Rs. 17,000/- for General/BC/EBC/WBC students

Rs. 15,000/- for SC/ST
