Hi I would like to have the information about the notice issued for the CET Counselling for the distance mode of education offered by LMNU?

The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga is putting forth a few Programs/Courses to take into account the necessities of In-administration educators and other such classes. In this way, there is the need create and enhance the reasonable, specialized and operational strategies and devices so as to productively deal with these separation instruction programs.

The DDE has built up a learning system and scattering framework for expanding access of the understudies with the intercession of Information and Communication innovation.

Important CET 2016 Notice - Counselling


The Directorate of Distance Education in Lalit Narayan Mithila University was made in the year 1998 vide University letter no. P/D 54-139/98 dated 7/2/1998. The Directorate is in charge of offering projects/courses through the separation mode. Since origin, it has been taking different activities to the spread of separation training. At present about 30% understudies of advanced education in LNMU are selected in the ODL arrangement of DDE.

Programmes of the Directorate
The Directorate of Distance Education with 16 Study Centres located in four districts of Bihar under the territorial juridistion of LNMU is carring out following programmes :-
1. B.Ed (Distance Mode)
The Directorate offers B.Ed course through distance mode for in service teachers with intake of 500 students.
2. B.Ed (Regular Mode)
The Directorate also runs the Bachelor of Education generally known as B.Ed in regular mode. From year 2015, It is a 2 year’s course. It is recognised by NCTE,New Delhi, with intake of 100 students. ( Two Units )
3. M.A (Education)
It is offered at DDE headquarter only, with intake of 500 students.
4. B.Lis Programme
It is offered at DDE HQ only, with intake of 500 students.
5. M.Lis Programme
It is offered at DDE HQ only, with intake of 500 students.
6. General Programme (Undergraduate)
The directorate offers three years Bachelor programme through distance mode in following subjects :-
Political Science, Sociology, Hindi, Geography, History, Home Science, English, Psychology, Economics, B.Com.
7. General Programme (Post-graduate)
Political Science, Sociology, Hindi, History, English, Psychology, Economics, M.Com.
