LP TET in Assam

Hi buddy im will appear in Assam LP TET exam and here come to know about eligibility criteria for this exam along with syllabus , so can you tell me about the same ??

As you want to appear in Assam LP TET exam, so on your demand I am telling about its eligibility and syllabus :

Eligibility TET Classes I to V Teacher (LP)
Applicants must have passed :
Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks (As per Govt. of India relaxation)
OR
Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002
OR
Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks with 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (Or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks with 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
Graduation with two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) Reservation Policy: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD(Person With Disability) (PH)

l. Child Development and Pedagogy
(a) Child development (for children 6-11 years group)

o Concept and Nature of Development
o Factors influencing Development - Biological heredity, Psychological and Environmental factors.
o Dimensions of Child Development - Physical. Cognitive, Emotional, Social and Moral.
o Development of language during early childhood and later childhood.
o Individual differences - Intra and Inter individual differences in various areas of Interest,Habit, Aptitudes,Intelligence, Creativity and their assessment.
o Personality- Concept and factors influencing personality.
o Common Behavioral Problems of Children- Causes and Remedies. Adjustment, Concept of Mental Health and Hygiene.


(b) Process of Learning

o Meaning and Nature of Learning.
o Factors affecting Learning.
o Maturation and Readiness for learnings.
o Motivation and Learning.
o Methods of Learning, Major Laws of Learning with their educational implications.
o Theories of Learning- (i) Connectionist( Stimulus- ) Response Theory)

(ii) Conditioning - Classical and operant.
(iii) Gesta Theory and Group Learning
. Transfer of Learning

* Pedagogy
o Teaching-Learning Process
Knowledge of children from Diverse Context - socio-cultural background, children with special needs (Talented, creative, specially abled), inclusive education.
o Understanding children with learning difficulties and Behavioral problems.
o Organizing Teaching - Teaching as Planned activity, Phases of Teaching (preactive, Interactive and Post active Phases). Different methods of teaching -Lecture method, project method.
o Classroom Management- Role of Teacher and the students,Leadership quality of teacher, time and task management.
o Concept of child-centred teaching and competency based teaching.
o Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation.
o Formative and summative evaluation.
o Diagnostic remedial teaching.
o Concept of TLM and its importance.

Assam Elementary TET Question Pattern for Classes I to V Teacher
Paper I (for classes I to V):
No. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) 150 (one mark each for one question)
There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers.
Duration of examination: One-and-a-half hours
1. Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
2. Language I- Assamese, Bangla, Bodo, Hindi, Nepali, Garo, Manipuri and Hmar(compulsory-any one):30 MCQs (30 Marks)
3. Language II- English: 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
4. Mathematics: 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
5. Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
