LPU NEST is an entrance exam conducted by the Lovely professional University (LPU) for screening candidates for admission to its UG engineering courses

Eligibility for LPU NEST
For admission to B.Tech programmes
The candidate should have scored a minimum 70% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (having Physics, Mathematics and English). OR
The candidate should have scored a minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (having Physics, Mathematics and English) subject and a valid score in LPU NEST
The candidates should have scored 60% aggregate marks with Physics, Mathematics and English and valid score in LPU NEST or JEE Main


For B.Tech Biotechnology (BT), and B.Tech – BT (Food Process Engineering) courses
For admission to above courses,the candidates shoulf have Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths/ Biology/ Biotech; while the rest of the eligibility condition will remain same as above

For B.Tech (with Hons), Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech and Integrated B.Tech +MBA


The Candidates should have a minimum score of 80% in aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English). OR
The Candidates should have a minimum 60% in aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English) and also a valid score in LPUNEST.


Exam Pattern
LPU NEST exam will consist of the question from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology from class 11th and 12th syllabus.
The exam will be MCQ type and will be computer based hence no pen and paper based test.
The exam pattern for LPU NEST consists of following no. of question from each subject:
