Punjabi University Patiala conducts M.Ed Entrance Exam for admission in M.Ed course in University.

M.Ed Entrance Exam Eligibility

B.Ed with 55% aggregate marks, if belonging to General category, while 50% if they are from SC or ST or OBC.

The candidates who are applying for M.Ed correspondence course should have two years of paid work experience which should be from a school recognized by a Board of School Education established by law or in College affiliated to this university or recognized by a university.

Even the part-time experience is counted towards teaching experience only if the teaching experience has been paid.

Candidates need to satisfy domicile requirements of India.

Exam pattern-

Entrance exam will have objective type multiple choice questions.

There will be 75 questions

The duration of exam is one and half hour.

Candidates can expect questions from B.Ed course curriculum.

Candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 20% marks to qualify the entrance exam.

Candidates will be short listed according to their merit in the written exam and will be called for counselling/ interview process.

Entrance test score has a validity of one academic year.

Final selection will be based on the scores obtained by the candidate and the seats availability in the colleges.
