L.N.Mithila University, (LNMU) Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga came into being on August 5, 1972, by an Ordinance/subsequently enacted through legislature, with the name Mithila University, Darbhanga,


This university offered Master of Arts (Education) programme which is an innovative course, which will provide learners exhaustive and more comprehensive knowledge/understanding of education:

ELIGIBILITY:
i. Any Graduate or a Bachelor's degree in Education or B.Ed. with 45% minimum marks on the basis of Entrance Test.
ii. B.Ed. (inservice teachers) direct admission on the basis of marks/merit.

Admission will be made through two streams :

Fee structure :
1st Year : Rs. 18,000/- for General/BC/EBC/WBC students
Rs. 16,000/- for SC/ST
(to be paid at the time of admission)
2nd Year : Rs. 17,000/- for General/BC/EBC/WBC students
Rs. 15,000/- for SC/ST
(to be paid at the time of beginning of the second year.)

SYLLABUS FOR ENTRANCE TEST :
Part – A : General English :
i. Reading Comprehension
ii. Correction of Sentences, articles, prepositions, tenses, spelling.
iii. Vocabulary, Synonyms and antonyms
iv. Transformation of Sentence – simple, compound, complex, voice, direct speech, indirect speech
v. Letter writing.

Part – B : General Knowledge :
i. General knowldege of the environment and its applications to society
ii. Knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation & experience
iii. Questions relating to India & its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to history, culture, geography, ecology, economics, general policies & scientific research

Part – C : Optional Subject :
Syllabus shall be of graduation level from the topics related to content prescribed for classes VIII, IX, X & +2 of Bihar in concerned subject.
