No, M.Sc and M.Tech are not equivalent; there are major differences in both courses. M.tech has more value then M.Sc.

The M. Sc is a master’s course, which is next form of B.Sc. It’s not as expensive as M Tech, if you do well in your graduation and score more than 60%, you can easily apply for the admission in M. sc course.

Whereas M Tech, it’s a tougher course, to get admission in this course, you need to appear in the entrance examination usually it is GATE.

I would suggest you to study M Tech rather then M. sc. it will provide you immense employment option. Else depends upon your interest, knowledge and skills……………………
